Hello,
My name is Eric and I think about things and often have opinions about them. I like to share ideas, concepts, news, data, information, and humorous bits with people. What I dislike is comments.
Having spent many many years online, I have seen the good and bad of online comments. I find myself reading the comment sections of my local newspapers and end up feeling simply awful. So, I came up with a format that seems to make me happy.
I have turned off the comments to this blog. What I will do though, is give the reader the option to email me to tell me what they think. Why would I do this if I don't like comments? It's all about intention.
If you are going to share with me something you think about what I wrote, I want you to actually give some intention to it. I am hoping this will stave off a lot of the "your gay", "you suck", "Yeah!", boring drivel. I am hoping that if you take the time to send off an email, you'll actually think about what you are about to write.
My goal will be share what I deem to be the Best of emails often.
